We try to learn as little about you as we can while still understanding how Frontier Watch is used. No advertising, no data selling, no third-party tracking. Here is exactly what we collect and why.
Account information
When you sign in, we store your email address (used only to send your one-click sign-in link) and, if you choose to provide them, your role and organization. Role and organization are optional and only help us understand who finds the product useful.
Product analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the product is used, configured to respect your privacy:
- Cookieless. We store nothing on your device — no cookies, no local storage. Analytics state is kept only in memory for the current page session.
- No session recording and no autocapture. We do not record your screen, mouse, or keystrokes, and we do not automatically capture every click.
- Identified by an internal ID only. While you are signed in, analytics events are associated with your internal account identifier — never your email address or any other personal detail. Signed-out visitors are anonymous.
Usage events we record
We log a small, fixed set of product events to our own database. When you are signed in, each is tied to your internal account ID; signed-out activity is counted anonymously. The complete list:
viewed_dashboard— you opened the dashboardviewed_analysis— you viewed the capability analysisviewed_si_reading— you viewed the Singularity Index readingviewed_policy_provider— you viewed the policy watchhit_paywall— you reached a members-only section
That is the entire list — we do not record the content you read beyond these view events.
Paid-membership waitlist
If you click “Notify me when paid membership launches,” we store your internal account ID and the date you joined, so we can email you when it’s ready. You can ask us to remove you at any time.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent your data.
- We don’t run advertising or ad-tracking.
- We don’t set tracking cookies.
- We don’t share your email with our analytics.
